Crispy Air Fryer Aloo Tikki Recipe – Healthy, Oil-Free & Super Easy!

Ingredients (for 8 tikkis)

  • 3 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
  • 1 tbsp rice flour or breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1–2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil (optional brushing)

How to Make Air Fryer Aloo Tikki — Step-by-Step

Step 1: Boil & Mash the Potatoes

Boil potatoes until soft, peel them, and mash until smooth with no lumps.

Step 2: Prepare the Aloo Tikki Mixture

Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, chaat masala, coriander, ginger, and rice flour.
Mix well to form a smooth dough.

Step 3: Shape the Tikkis

Take small portions and shape them into round flat tikkis.
Keep them uniform so they cook evenly.

Step 4: Preheat the Air Fryer

Preheat to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.


Step 5: Air Fry the Tikkis

Place tikkis in the basket.
Brush lightly with oil (optional).
Air fry 10 minutes, flip, then cook 6–8 more minutes until golden.

Step 6: Serve Hot

Serve with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, or use for Aloo Tikki Chaat!
