Grind soaked toor dal and channa dal into a thick, fluffy batter using minimal water. The batter should be light and airy.
Add chopped moringa leaves,mint,coriander, onion, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves, grated coconut hing, and salt. Mix gently.
Grease idli plates or a steamer plate. Spoon the batter and steam for 10–12 minutes until cooked.
Remove and serve warm with coconut chutney or green chutney.
